Endurance Debrief DE EN

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This is a convenience translation. In case of any discrepancy, the German version is legally binding.

This policy applies to the website of Endurance Debrief. We aim to process as little data as possible: the site sets no cookies, embeds no client-side tracking or analytics scripts, and loads no third-party content (fonts are also hosted locally on our server). For reach measurement we only use a server-side, cookieless analysis (see section 4).

Note on the app: The iOS app itself processes your training data exclusively on your device. There is no server, no account and no transfer of your data. On the App Store, the app is labelled accordingly as "Data Not Collected". This privacy policy therefore only concerns visiting this website.

1. Controller

The party responsible for data processing on this website is:

Alexander Eichelbaum
Bärdorfer Zeile 23a
12489 Berlin
Germany
Email: kontakt@endurancedebrief.app
Phone: +49 30 75655419

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify (Netlify, Inc., USA). When you access the site, the host automatically processes information that your browser transmits, in what are known as server log files. These usually are:

This data is processed to deliver the website, to ensure technical security and to keep operation stable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functional web presence pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the host. As Netlify is based in the USA, a transfer to a third country may occur; this is safeguarded by appropriate guarantees under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR (EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

3. Fonts (locally hosted)

This website uses fonts that are stored locally on our server. When you access the site, no connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) is established, and your IP address is not transferred to third parties for this purpose.

4. Cookies, reach measurement and tracking

We use no cookies, no client-side web tracking and no advertising technologies. There is no profiling and no cross-device recognition.

For reach measurement we use Netlify Analytics – a server-side, cookieless analysis of the server log files that arise anyway (cf. section 2). It produces only aggregated statistics (e.g. page views, popular pages, referrers, approximate countries of origin). No script is loaded in your browser, no cookie is set and no individual user profile is created; identifying individual persons is therefore not possible. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly reach measurement pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

5. Getting in touch

If you contact us by email (e.g. via the support or imprint address), we process the data you provide (email address, content of the message) in order to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (for pre-contractual enquiries) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Signing up as a beta tester (by email)

If you sign up as a tester for the TestFlight beta by email (testpilot@endurancedebrief.app), we process your email address and the content of your message in order to provide you with beta access and to keep you informed about the beta and the launch of Endurance Debrief. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (carrying out pre-contractual measures at your request) or your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future (informally by email). No external newsletter or list service is used – your message arrives in our email inbox. We store your address until you unsubscribe or the beta has concluded.

7. Disclosure to third parties

Your data is not disclosed to third parties, except to the host named above (processor), who acts exclusively on our instructions, or where we are legally obliged to do so.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

To exercise your rights, an informal message to the controller named above is sufficient.

9. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:

Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit
Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany
www.datenschutz-berlin.de

10. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy whenever the data processing on this website changes (e.g. due to new features) or the legal situation changes. The current version published here always applies.
